By using Kazi, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide, maintain, improve, and secure the Service.
1.1 Account Information
Kazi supports Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, and guest quick login.
When you create or access an account, we may collect:
- Name or display name
- Email address
- Profile photo, if provided by your login provider
- User ID or account identifier
- Login method, such as Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or guest login
- Authentication identifiers necessary to maintain your login session
If you use Google Sign-In, we may receive basic account information from Google, such as your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier, depending on the permissions you approve.
If you use Sign in with Apple, we may receive your Apple account identifier, email address, and name if you choose to share them. Apple may also provide a private relay email address if you choose to hide your email.
If you use guest quick login, we may create a temporary or device-based account identifier so you can access certain features without creating a full account. Guest accounts may have limited functionality, and data may be lost if you uninstall the App, change devices, clear local data, or fail to bind the guest account to another login method.
1.2 User-Uploaded Content
To provide AI creation and editing features, we may process content you upload, submit, or generate through the Service, including:
- Photos
- Videos
- Images used as AI references
- Outfit or clothing images
- Text prompts
- Editing instructions
- Background replacement materials
- Generated images, generated videos, and edited outputs
- We do not use user-uploaded photos, videos, prompts, generated content, or other user materials to train AI models.
- We do not sell user-uploaded content.
- We do not use user-uploaded content for unrelated advertising purposes.
1.3 Face Data Statement
No Face Data Collection
Kazi may allow users to upload photos that contain faces for features such as photo editing, avatar creation, outfit preview, style adjustment, or AI visual generation.
- Kazi does not collect, identify, analyze, store, or create face data, face geometry, facial recognition templates, biometric identifiers, or biometric information.
- Kazi does not use uploaded images to identify any person.
- Kazi does not use face-related information for authentication, recognition, tracking, profiling, or advertising.
- Photos containing faces are processed only as visual input for the user-requested AI generation, editing, or preview function.
1.4 Device and Technical Information
We may automatically collect certain technical information, including:

1.7 Permission-Based Information
Kazi may request access to certain device permissions only when needed for app functionality.
Photo Access: Kazi may request photo access so you can upload images for AI editing, generation references, background replacement, style adjustment, and outfit previews.
Video Access: Kazi may request video access so you can upload clips, create AI video effects, and manage generated video content.
Camera Access: Kazi may request camera access so you can capture images or videos directly for creation or editing.
Storage Access: Kazi may request storage or media access so you can save, import, export, or manage generated content.
You can manage permissions through your device settings.
2. How We Use Information

3. AI Processing and User Content
Kazi uses Kazi AI to provide image generation, video generation, photo editing, background replacement, style adjustment, outfit preview, and related AI-powered features.
When you upload photos, videos, prompts, or other materials, such content may be processed by Kazi AI only for the purpose of completing your requested action, such as generating an image, creating a video, editing a photo, replacing a background, applying a style, or previewing an outfit.
User-uploaded content and generated content are not used to train Kazi AI models.
Unless otherwise stated, we do not claim ownership of your uploaded content. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload, edit, generate, or share content through Kazi.
Kazi may process uploaded and generated content for the following limited purposes:
- Providing the AI feature requested by the user
- Displaying results to the user
- Saving or exporting generated content at the user’s request
- Maintaining app safety and preventing misuse
- Debugging technical issues
- Complying with applicable law
Generated results may vary and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for every use. You should review generated content before using, publishing, or sharing it.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Uploaded content, generated content, account information, and usage records may be retained for different periods depending on the feature, account type, storage settings, legal requirements, and technical needs.
User-uploaded content is retained only as necessary to provide the requested AI features, maintain user access to generated results, support account functionality, prevent abuse, or comply with legal obligations.

Guest login data may be stored locally or linked to a temporary identifier. If you uninstall the App, clear app data, or change devices, guest data may no longer be recoverable.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

8. California Privacy Rights

Depending on how you use the Service, the categories of personal information we may collect include:

9. Virginia Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of Virginia, you may have rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (“VCDPA”).
Subject to applicable exceptions, Virginia residents may have the right to:

- Correct inaccuracies in your personal data
- Delete personal data provided by or obtained about you
- Obtain a portable copy of personal data you previously provided to us

10. Children’s Privacy
Kazi is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If the Service is made available to users in regions with different age requirements, we will comply with applicable local laws regarding children’s privacy and parental consent.

Kazi is operated in accordance with the laws of the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States or other countries where Kazi operates.
Data protection laws in these countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence where permitted by applicable law.
12. Analytics and Advertising
We may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with the Service, diagnose technical issues, improve performance, and develop better features.

13. Generated Content and User Responsibility
You are responsible for the content you upload, generate, edit, save, or share through Kazi.
You agree not to upload, generate, or share content that violates applicable law, infringes intellectual property rights, violates privacy rights, impersonates others, or violates our Terms of Service.
Kazi may use automated or manual review methods to detect abuse, enforce policies, improve safety, and comply with legal obligations.
Generated results may vary and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for every use. You should review generated content before using, publishing, or sharing it.
14. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at support@trykazi.com or by using the in-app account deletion feature if available.
After receiving a valid request, we will delete or de-identify your personal information where required by applicable law, unless retention is necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes.
Deleting your account may permanently remove access to your saved content, generation history, subscriptions linked to your account, or other app data, subject to app store subscription rules.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we may update the “Effective Date” at the top of this Privacy Policy and provide additional notice where required by law.
Your continued use of the Service after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means that you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
